You might be thinking Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. But at Little River Electric, it’s annual meeting season. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 12, as we prepare for another exciting Annual Meeting.
One of our favorite parts of the year is registration week. It’s a chance to reconnect with long-time friends, meet new members and even visit with a few furry friends. Last year, an impressive 1,420 members stopped by one of our convenient drive-thru registration locations, making the event a tremendous success.
Our Annual Meeting team is busy putting the finishing touches on registration dates, times, locations and the prizes members will receive simply for stopping by to register. While members must be present to register, there is no need to return for the actual meeting.
Once again, the Annual Meeting will be broadcast live on Facebook, allowing members to participate from the comfort of their homes.
Be sure to look for the official Annual Meeting notice in the August issue of South Carolina Living. The notice will include complete registration details as well as information regarding the Board of Trustees election.
Registration tickets will be mailed in mid-August. Keep an eye on your mailbox—your registration ticket will arrive in an envelope that looks similar to a bill. Don’t mistake it for regular mail and throw it away, as you’ll need your ticket to register.

Before you register

To help make registration quick and easy, please keep the following important guidelines in mind:
- Bring your original registration ticket with you if possible. Replacement tickets can be issued at registration, but having your original ticket will help speed up the process.
- To be eligible to register, receive a registration gift, and enter prize drawings, your name must be listed on the electric account when registration tickets are mailed.
- A valid photo ID is required at registration and must be presented along with your ticket.
- Members registering on behalf of a church, business, or other organization must also have their name listed on the account.
- Only the member whose name appears on the registration ticket may register. No exceptions can be made.
Not sure if your name is listed on the account? Now is the perfect time to check your electric bill. If your name does not appear on the bill, please contact our office at (864) 366-2141.
