By tractor, truck, convertible and golf cart they came to the arena in Iva, the church by the lake and the office in Abbeville.
Once again, Little River Electric provided convenient access to registration for their Annual Meeting of Members at three locations over four days in September. Members took advantage, as 1,420 registered and received their member gift, a Little River cutting board and a $25 bill credit.

Jon and Jill Voss of Iva were happy to receive their Little River cutting board when they registered for the Annual Meeting.
Members also made their voice heard, electing Jessie E. Hammons, Jr. to the District 3 seat on the co-op board of trustees for a 3-year term.
The annual business meeting was live streamed on Sept. 13, and can still be viewed on Little River Electric’s Facebook page.
In his address to members, Little River Electric CEO Chad Stone thanked the members for their participation and their support over the previous year as the cooperative restores its infrastructure following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
“In my 31 years, I have never seen this much change,” says Stone. “So many of you have prayed for us and reached out to encourage us. I am so grateful for each prayer and word of encouragement.”
Samuel K. Sutherland of Donalds, Mary L. Crummie of McCormick, Jason Sutherland of Calhoun Falls and Fred Brock of Honea Path each won a $500 Visa gift card in the annual grand prize drawings, along with numerous others.

The cows at the Iva FFA Arena wanted to register so they could receive the baby farm animals-themed calendar. They were not interested, however, in the cutting board.
