Members, we have exciting news to share with you! As mentioned in January’s South Carolina Living, Little River will be undergoing a software conversion beginning the first of March. Alongside the internal software conversion, we will be launching a new online portal and a smartphone application. There are many new features related to the new portal and app including daily usage charts, notifications, and more.
Please take some time to preview SmartHub and all it has to offer before the March 6 launch date.
We will update you as features become available, but for now we would like to make you aware of the following key dates.
March 1–March 5
Our online customer portal will be offline permanently. That will affect any customers that use our online payment solution for payments and paperless billing. For those using these features, download the new app and set up your account on the new Smarthub platform.
March 1–March 3
Our office will be open March 1–3, but only payments by check will be accepted. No credit card payments can be made in the office or by phone. We will not be able to post payments until our new system is in place. Because of this transition, late charges will be waived during this time.
SmartHub is live! You will now be able to explore the SmartHub platform and its many features. There you’ll find links and instructions on how to manage your account like never before through our web portal and mobile app.
Our office will be open for all payments and services. If you are currently on credit card draft, you will need to sign into the app or call the office to set your account back up. Unfortunately, credit card drafts will not transfer to our new system. If you are on bank/savings draft, you won’t need to do anything. Your draft will continue with no worries.
Billing & payments No more waiting for your bill to arrive in the mail. You can access your bill anytime from anywhere. Save time with easy payment options to avoid late fees and service interruptions.
Alerts & notifications Stay informed on important account events via email or text messages. Receive the information you need to make the right decision about your account.
Paperless billing Activate SmartHub paperless billing, an eco-friendly way to instantly access your bill.
Use monitoring Worrying about your energy use or surprising bill amounts can be stressful. You’ll be able to monitor your daily use. Imagine knowing when to cut back on energy use to help lower the cost of your next bill.
